Lenny i xorg

Witam mam problemy z lennym i xorg. Po instalacji obraz dziala w rozdzielczosci 800x600 na monitorze podlaczonym przez DVI. Na pierwszy ogien poszlo "/etc/init.d/gdm stop" po czym tworze nowy konfig i kopiuje do /etc/X11 ale nic to nie daje. Po restarcie mimo nowego xorg.conf nic sie nie zmienia tak jak gdyby system wcale go nie uzywal. Tego, ze system go nie uzywa jestem raczej pewien bo sam plik xorg.conf wymaga poprawek i gdm/Xorg nie powinien sie wogole z nim uruchomic.

podpinam sie pod temat

3 dni temu postawilem Lenego
dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg pozwala na ustawienie myszki i klawiatury - o monitor i karte nie pyta ( tak jak by ich nie bylo ect )
zainstalowalem sterowniki radeon ( moja karta to radeon 9600 ) - nie mam akceleracji
