ATI od podstaw

Wiem, że was męczę, ale już od 2 miesięcy walcze z moim radeonem 9800SE i nie daje rady go zainstalować.
Próbowałem wszystkich opisów jakie znalazłem na DUG i na google, ale za każdym razem jest lipa :(. Po tym czasie jestem już trochę mądrzejszy ale nie na tyle żebym sobie poradził z tym sam. Stąd prośba do was o przeprowadzenie mnie przez ten proces.

W chwili obecnej mam świeżo zainstalowany system: Debian testing 2.6.18-3-686 (przez instalatora net-install) oraz:
-Kernel-headers i źródła z linkiem symbolicznym do linux w usr/src/
-Środowisko graficzne -GNOME

Próbowałem wcześniej robić i instalować paczki, ładować przez module-assistanta, instalować z repozytorów i ciągle lipa :(

Tylko zamiast ściągać i instalować ręcznie można od razu aptem z repo. Działa (przynajmniej u mnie ;])

Próbowałem. Tworzyłem również ręcznie paczki z instalatora Ati i instalowałem je, ale po instalacji ciągle to samo :(
