Rozwiązanie problemu z pojedynczym migotaniem ekranu - w ostatnich postach tematu LUB instalacja kernela z http://www.liquorix.net/ - ostatecznie powinna rozwiązać problem. U mnie pomogła ostatecznie ta druga opcja

Podaj więcej konkretów.
Co to za sprzęt, logi itp.

Re: [Solved] Dziwne zachowanie wiatraka na baterii, migotanie samsung r540

Pogooglowałem trochę i chodzi o problem z ładowaniem modułu i915 do kernela przy starcie systemu. Pojawia się komunikat "failed to get i915 symbols, graphics turbo disabled error on boot".
http://www.backtrack-linux.org/forums/showthread.php?t=48904
Drugi:
http://forum.salixos.org/viewtopic.php?t=5207&p=33512

Tu wynik dmesg | grep failed:

Kod:

[    0.595582]  pci0000:3f: ACPI _OSC request failed (AE_NOT_FOUND), returned control mask: 0x1d

Re: [Solved] Dziwne zachowanie wiatraka na baterii, migotanie samsung r540

Ok kilka nowych info.

I ve set two options in my kernel configuration:
CONFIG_FRAMEBUFFER_CONSOLE=y
CONFIG_FRAMEBUFFER_CONSOLE_ROTATION=y

Now the system boots correctly with KMS switched on.
Dodatkowe info w dok. Debiana:

I had to to set CONFIG_FRAMEBUFFER_CONSOLE=y, CONFIG_FRAMEBUFFER_CONSOLE_ROTATION=y . Maybe with initial ramdisk, compiling it as module would be sufficient, but I've not checked it. Unfortunately the kernel "make menuconfig" doesn't check if the framebuffer console support is selected when CONFIG_DRM_I915_KMS is set to "y" (LKML, 601558, 600802).

[Another report:] On my 945GM, CONFIG_FRAMEBUFFER_CONSOLE must be built-in, and not built as a module (this will require building-in AGP / DRM / Intel / Consoleframebuffer)
I teraz pytanie - jak to zrobić? :)

Karta:

Kod:

VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Core Processor Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 02)

Kod:

CONFIG_FRAMEBUFFER_CONSOLE=y
CONFIG_FRAMEBUFFER_CONSOLE_DETECT_PRIMARY=y
CONFIG_FRAMEBUFFER_CONSOLE_ROTATION=y

@dariusz - Ładowanie tych modułów w /etc/initramfs-tools/modules

On my 945GM, CONFIG_FRAMEBUFFER_CONSOLE must be built-in, and not built as a module (this will require building-in AGP / DRM / Intel / Consoleframebuffer)

Kod:

$ lspci -vvnn

Kod:

root@debian:/etc/initramfs-tools# echo -e "i915\nintel_agp\n" >> modules
root@debian:/etc/initramfs-tools# update-initramfs -u
root@debian:/etc/initramfs-tools# reboot

Uwaga : trzeba wyrzucic nomodeset / i915.modeset=0 z grub.cfg

Po czym pozostaje Tobie sprawdzic RAM lub przyzwyczaic sie do "zachowania" laptopa albo go zmienic.

Re: [Solved] Dziwne zachowanie wiatraka na baterii, migotanie samsung r540

No darius, muszę Ci powiedzieć, że działa!

Kod:

[ 5.986079] intel ips 0000:00:1f.6: failed to get i915 symbols, graphics turbo disabled
[    6.439409] i915 0000:00:02.0: setting latency timer to 64
[    6.488308] i915 0000:00:02.0: irq 42 for MSI/MSI-X
[    7.234759] [drm] Initialized i915 1.6.0 20080730 for 0000:00:02.0 on minor 0
[ 11.199024] intel ips 0000:00:1f.6: i915 driver attached, reenabling gpu turbo

Kod:

# List of modules that you want to include in your initramfs.
# They will be loaded at boot time in the order below.
#
# Syntax:  module_name [args ...]
#
# You must run update-initramfs(8) to effect this change.
#
# Examples:
#
# raid1
# sd_mod
i915
intel_agp

I oczywiście wykonaniu:

Kod:

update-initramfs -u

Kod:

[    1.182884] i915 0000:00:02.0: setting latency timer to 64
[    1.308715] i915 0000:00:02.0: irq 41 for MSI/MSI-X
[    2.032613] [drm] Initialized i915 1.6.0 20080730 for 0000:00:02.0 on minor 0

Kod:

failed to get i915 symbols, graphics turbo disabled

Kod:

[    0.714839] i915 0000:00:02.0: irq 41 for MSI/MSI-X
[    1.475119] i915 0000:00:02.0: fb0: inteldrmfb frame buffer device
[    1.475124] i915 0000:00:02.0: registered panic notifier
[    1.478767] [drm] Initialized i915 1.6.0 20080730 for 0000:00:02.0 on minor 0

O co chodzi z tym:

i915 0000:00:02.0: registered panic notifier

Ok to mam ostatnie pytanie.

Tez od lat uzywalem aptitude dist-upgrade do czasu az wyczytalem w man aptitude (do poczytania)

Kod:

aptitude update
aptitude safe-upgrade
aptitude full-upgrade

Kod:

aptitude safe-upgrade

Można się przejechać przy dłuższym używaniu.
Mieliśmy tu na forum taki przypadek.
Choć wątku pewnie nie znajdę. :)

Re: [Solved] Dziwne zachowanie wiatraka na baterii, migotanie samsung r540

nmarx, moje kombo to:

Kod:

apt-get update && apt-get dist-upgrade && apt-get autoclean && apt-get autoremove
