kernel 2.6.24.5/2.6.25.13 probem z odpaleniem na dell

witam forumowiczow
dorwalem uzywanego dell'a 2650, zainstalowalem podstawowego etchandhalf, lecz ten nie widzi procesorow, oprocz tego chce dorzucic jeszcze kilka latek, ale mam problem z odpaleniem.
kopilowalem juz go kilka razy i za kazdym razem ten sam efekt - kernel panic, a dokladnie wywala ze nie moze znalezc root partycji jako sda2. podejrzewalem ze to kontroler scsi, wrzucilem prawie wszystkie mozliwe do kernela ale to nic nie pomoglo.

zaznaczyle wszystkie adapteci i teraz jak startuje to wywala ze, aacraid (czy jakos podobnie) jest w trybie offline i restartuje scsi.

dzieki, zrobilem tak samo ale niestety nadal blad

wyczytalem, ze problem ten moze sie pojawic w nowszych driverach aacraid (ale przeciez dystrybucyjny tez jest 2.6.24, czyzby zmienily sie drivery), podobno pomaga updade biosu, ale na stronie dela nie moge znalezn nowszego biosu niz mam
bios A21
adaptec bios 2.8 - znalazlem 2.8.1, z tym ze w chwili obecnej nie mam fizycznego dostepu do dell'a by go upgradowac.

kernel od 2.6.17 i wyzej uzywałem na tym dellu z powodzeniem ,biosu wersji nie pamietam ,serwery są 500km ode mnie ;)

skompilowalem 2.6.20 i poszlo bez problemu.
zrobilem update biosu kontrolera do 2.8.1 i tez poszlo na moich kernelach.

qrde, meczylem sie z tym 2 dni, wkurzalem sie niesamowicie a tu winny okazal sie firmware.

a tak na marginesie, skoro masz delle uzywasz moze RAC?? bo nigdzie nie widzialem jak zmienic tam haslo usera :(
