Stabilny squeeze i nvidia

Zainstalowalem dzis stabilna wersje squeeze. Wywala mi wszystko zaraz po uruchomieniu grub'a.
Prawdopodobnie to z powodu braku sterownikow Nvidia. Jak je mozna zainstalowac, jak jedyne co mam dostepne to wiersz polecen grub
Poprzednio na moim sprzecie squeeze testowy dzialal doskonale....

ps. przepraszam za brak "ogonkow" w tekscie , ale slax pod ktorym to pisze nie ma takiej opcji....

Po uruchomieniu odpala grub z trzema opcjami. Trzecia to windows - ta dziala...
Pierwsza to debian
druga to jw - recovery mode.
Czy wybieram pierwsza czy druga system po paru sekundach calkowicie wisi - monitor informuje o braku sygnalu.

To chyba za wysokie progi dla mnie :(
Przejrzalem wszystko co znalazlem na powyzszy temat i dalej nie mam pojecia co zrobic..... :((((
Kocham debiana, ale odnosze wrazenie , ze im bardziej sie rozwija tym mniej przyjazny dla takich jak ja - zwyklych uzytkownikow. A szkoda....
Na razie sprobuje zglebic grub'a - moze znajde rozwiazanie trudnosci. Niemniej jednak kazda pomoc baaardzo mile widziana.

A tam opowiadasz, to wcale nie jest takie trudne. :) Nie mam grub2, także napiszę tylko opierając się na [url=http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1195275]>> tym <<[/url].

* Najeżdżasz na linijkę uruchamiającą Debiana, jednak zamiast enter wciskasz [i]"e"[/i]
* Zjeżdżasz w dół do linijki w stylu:

    linux    /vmlinuz-2.6.32-zen7-amidala root=/dev/sda6 rootfstype=ext4 vga=795 quiet

(u Ciebie będzie trochę inna, ale chodzi o tą zaczynającą się słowem [i]linux[/i] i zawierającą [i]vmlinuz[/i])

* Na końcu tej linijki dopisujesz:

nouveau.modeset=0

* Uruchamiasz system z tym wpisem wciskając [tt]ctrl + x[/tt]

Jeżeli coś napisałem nie tak, to dajcie znać... Pisałem w ciemno. ;)

Ewentualnie można próbować to dopisać czy też od razu blacklistować [i]nouveau[/i] w chroocie, ale wydawało mi się, że tak będzie szybciej. Poza tym na dobrą sprawę wcale nie ma pewności, że to pomoże... póki co to tylko domysły.

Wszystko działa jak należy, wielkie dzięki Arn :))))
A wracając do mojego wcześniejszego postu, to może nie debian mniej przyjazny tylko moje szare komórki zdrętwiały :D

I jeszcze jedno pytanie - jak można sprawdzić czy instalator zainstalował sterownik do nvidii? Sądząc po jakości obrazu - myślę że tak....

Instalator nvidii nie instaluje.

Jak zablokowałeś nouveau to chyba chodzi na nv.

Teraz musisz dodać:

do pliku [i]/etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf[/i] i odświeżyć initrd:

update-initramfs -u -k `uname -r`

Po tym powinien uruchamiać się normalnie bez tamtego parametru... Następna w kolejności instalacja sterów Nvidii.

Nie musisz nic kombinować.
Wystarczy .że dasz

Chyba ,że masz starszą kartę to

To z blacklistowaniem [i]nouveau[/i] moim zdaniem masz dobrze, nie wiem czemu nie idzie. Sam z ciekawości obadam później czy ten sposób nadal działa. :) Zrób jak Ci [b]ilin[/b] napisał i powinno być ok, powinien zrobić to automatycznie.

.Próbowałem zainstalować sterownik przy pomocy skryptu sgfxi - niestety próba nieudana - błąd instalacji. (instalowany był driver 260.19.36)

Jak dla mnie, to on chodzi teraz na sterowniku [i]nv[/i], a nie [i]nvidia[/i]. Uzupełniłeś [i]xorg.conf[/i]?

Doinstalowałem, uruchomiłem, restartowałem - są już stery nvidii (I think so ) - Przy uruchamianiu systemu pojawiają sie charakterystyczne 'wzory' graficzne, które towarzyszyły mi przy wersji testowej. Jak ja bardzo za nimi tęskniłem :)))
Poza tym zaczął działać poprawnie system graficzny kde - przedtem robił co chciał;)
A poza tym, a nawet przede wszystkim widzę to w xorg.conf

To jeszcze wrzuć loga znowu, tak dla pewności. :) Przy okazji... [deb]nvidia-settings[/deb] możesz sobie doinstalować, przydatny przy sterach Nvidii.
