Przycięcia w grach.

Witam, od paru dni jestem użytkownikiem debiana i na dobrą sprawę nie dużo wiem na temat systemu.

Moj problem polega na tym że kiedy uruchamiam grę / program do modelowania 3D zarówno gra jak i już wymodelowany obiekt tak strasznie się przycinają.

Nie mam pojęcia w czym jest problem szczerze mówiąc.

Wynik polecenia : glxinfo | grep OpenGL

OK, spróbuj zatem zainstalować zamknięte sterowniki, wydajność powinna być na nich lepsza. Nie wiem jaką masz architekturę systemu i jakie środowisko graficzne, zatem nie podam dokładnie, ale na podstawie tego wątku powinieneś sobie poradzić: [url]http://forum.dug.net.pl/viewtopic.php?id=20935[/url].

Na otwartym sterowniku radeon wydajność w grach 3D jest bardzo niska. Jeżeli chcesz pograć w poważniejsze tytuły jak np. Doom 3 to musisz zainstalować własnościowy sterownik od AMD o nazwie fglrx.

To właściwie tak samo jak tam pisałem w poście 4, chyba że masz inny menedżer logowania niż gdm3, wtedy zamiast gdm3 wpisujesz jego nazwę. Poza tym możesz jeszcze doinstalować [deb]ia32-libs[/deb] jeśli nie masz, potrzebne np. do odpalania 32-bitowych gier na systemie 64-bitowym.

PS Przypadek z tamtego wątku był dosyć ekstremalny, zazwyczaj wystarczy po prostu zainstalować. :)

Ogólnie jeśli instalacja się nie powiedzie (są takie przypadki), spróbuj używać sterowników Gallium3D (powinny być szybsze)

Niestety ale mialem maly wypadek przy instalacji, nieumyślnie dalem startx jakbył włączdony gdm3 i dostałem blackscreena, nic się nie działo więc zresetowalem lapka. ALE jak już się odpalał czcionka byla zmieniona i zauwazyłem że GNOME o wiele wolniej mi się ładuje.

@ArnVaker, wybacz nie zdąrzyłem wyedytować.

Widać ZNAAAAACZNĄ różnicę ;)). Żadnego przycięcia.

Jeszcze gdybym mógł poprosić Cie o pomoc z szybszym uruchamianiem Xów i cud miód ;).


Tak jak pisałem w poście wcześniej. Czcionka sama się zmeiniła, wiec pewnie to sprawka sterownika, i troszke wolniej, ale zauważalnie wolniej ładują się X`y.

Dlaczego masz w xorg.conf zdefiniowany zarówno sterownik radeon, jaki i fglrx? Tego pierwszego chyba nie powinno tam być jeśli używasz fglrx. Zmiana czcionki w trybie tekstowym jest normalna, ponieważ KMS nie działa na zamkniętych sterownikach. Natomiast czemu GNOME długo się uruchamia to nie wiem. Konkretnie GNOME czy w ogóle X-y? Może w logu: /var/log/Xorg.0.log będzie coś na ten temat. Może to właśnie przez ten dziwny xorg.conf.

[b]EDIT:[/b] A tak poza tematem: jeśli chcesz żeby wszystko się szybciej uruchamiało, to polecam programik e4rat. :)

Nic tam szczególnego nie widzę w Xorg.0.log szczerze mówiąc. Ten xorg.conf taki został automatycznie wygenerowany czy sam coś w nim grzebałeś? Spróbuj całą tę sekcję zakomentować, zobaczymy czy to coś da:

Czcionka, że taka wielka, tak? :) Wydaje mi się, że powinno dać się użyć vesafb/uvesafb. Wydaje mi się, ponieważ sam mam Nvidię i w jej przypadku się da, a w tym przypadku nie jestem pewien. W każdym razie tutaj opisałem jak to zrobić: [url=http://dug.net.pl/tekst/142/nvidia___zamkniete_sterowniki_w_debianie/#rozdzielczosc_trybu_tekstowego]„Rozdzielczość trybu tekstowego”[/url]. Tamten tekst generalnie jest o sterownikach Nvidii, ale akurat tego fragmentu można użyć również w innych przypadkach.

Tzn tak. jak nic przy xorgu nie grzebałem i nawet niedawno go konfigurowałem przez :

po zamknieciu X`ów.

Zrestartuje jeszcze raz system zobacz czy się cos poprawiło

Może to właśnie dlatego, że wygenerowałeś wcześniej xorg.conf. Podczas instalacji sterowników tworzony jest xorg.conf, w tym przypadku pewnie wyszła taka hybryda jednego z drugim. Możesz spróbować przenieść tymczasowo ten co masz i wygenerować nowy:

aticonfig --initial

Teraz też miałeś racje :).

X`y wstają o niebo szybciej. Musiałem wygenerować xorg.conf`a jeszcze raz.

Serdecznie dziękuję za dotychczasową pomoc :).
