Witam,

pytanie pewnie w stylu dyletanta, ale jak po dłuższym czasie bezczynności zdalnie za pomocą konsoli zamontować hdd na usb, gdy oczywiście restart maszynki nie wchodzi w grę? Pakiet usbmount oczywiście zainstalowany, dysk bezpośrednio po podłączeniu widać. Po dłuższym czasie bezczynności przestaje być widoczny.

niestety - tylko dysk podstawowy, aczkolwiek kontrolka na dysku usb się pali, czyli zasilanie ma

no tak, bo jak pisałem wyżej, jeśli go ręcznie wypnę i wepnę powtórnie to zaskoczy, zdalnie z konsoli wystarczy restart serwera i również zaskoczy, no ale to tak trochę po sztubacku.

Zamierzałem na nim od czasu do czasu zdalnie lub z crona wykonać rsync w nocy, no ale jak maszynka go nie będzie widzieć to pupka zbita

ps. ale tutaj możesz mieć rację z tym "zasilaniem", może być za długi kabel usb, w tej chwili dysk wisi na około 1m przewodzie, oryginalnie do niego był krótszy - około 30cm, ... zapnę go na krótszym
