Dzięki za pomoc .
Kolega ma w planie zmienić laptopa. Już mu powiedziałam żeby na drugi raz kupował takiego pod Linuksa np. z kartą Nvidia a nie Ati . :)
Tak z ciekawości uruchomiłam glxgears na moim laptopie Samsung RV511 i ja dopiero mam jakiś beznadziejny wynik :(

Bo to zależy od synchronizacji.

W Intelach jest zazwyczaj domyślnie włączona.

Zamknięte sterowniki nvidii i amd maja z tym czasem problem i dlatego jest wyłączona, co czasem powoduje zniekształcania obrazu.

PS Jeżeli chcesz sprawdzić rzeczywistą wydajność karty graficznej, to w poprzednim linku były odpowiednie do tego narzędzia:

Podobno w tym sterze poprawili wydajność OpenGL (do Steama :) ), ale sync-to-vblank dalej się włącza samoczynnie (jak zawsze).
