Witam,
Posiadamy Sony VAIO VGN-NS30E. Jest na nim zainstalowany Debian sid:

Mam jednak ten problem, że przez [i]gnome-alsamixer[/i] czy też [i]alsamixergui[/i] mam jedynie dostępny tryb stero.
Mam zestaw 5.1, który działa z tą kartą pod Windows 7. Nie wiem, jak zmienić by w Debianie mieć również taki układ dźwięku.
Używał ktoś z Was? Jakieś doświadczenia gdzie szukać przyczyny?

Z tego co widzę to karty się losowo miejscami zamieniają.
Trzeba z tym porządek zrobić.
Dla tej na usb to masz suwaki dla center, rear i side.
Pewnie to sprawka pulseaudio, że idzie na dwa kanały.

Tak jak [b]ilin[/b] napisał, alsamixer (i jego nakładki) działają inaczej przy zainstalowanym PulseAudio.
Żeby się dostać to rzeczywistych suwaków karty dźwiękowej musisz użyć przełącznika -D

I first removed pulseaudio, but although I could control everything using the alsa mixer, there was no signal on line-in (an now also not on the mic-input). Then I reinstalled pulseaudio again, fiddled a bit with the controls and presto, everything works perfectly. I am perfectly sure that I tried the current control earlier. Odinstalowałem pulseaudio.
Ustawienie kolejności kart załatwię taką zmianą jak poniżej:

Posiłkowałem się informacjami z tej strony: [url]https://wiki.debian.org/ALSA[/url].
Trochę jednak to nie zadziałało, bo aktualna konfiguracja - [url]http://www.alsa-project.org/db/?f=9bab2e83c006c38ff1830893b91ebf0c915ee42b[/url] - pokazuje, że karta na USB jest jako druga, alsamixer również. Mało tego - alsamixer pokazuje suwaki, jednak ich zmiana nic nie wywołuje.

Z użyciem PulseAudio (i kontrolą przez pavucontrol), jak i z użyciem jedynie ALSA - suwaki są dostępne. Jednak sprawdzenie głośników przezKod:

Więc... ciągle stereo :) Będę wdzięczny za jakieś pomysły jeszcze.

Informacje na wiki Debiana są trochę nieaktualne.
Brane są pod uwagę WYŁĄCZNIE pliki [tt]jakaś_nazwa.conf[/tt]

Standardowo chyba i tak będzie słychać tylko stereo.
Musisz mieć jakiś materiał z większą ilością ścieżek lub sklonować przednie kanały.

Karta nie może się sama przestawiać bo wpis:
options snd slots=snd-usb-audio,snd-hda-intel
ustawia na stałe kolejność kart.
Zresztą do tego właśnie służy.

O.K. a jak "wroci" broda to go zapytamy z czego on robi te swoje testy, poniewaz dzwiek wyjsciowy musi byc minimum w 5.1.
