Zmieniłem płytę główną i pojawił się problem z rozpoznaniem częstotliwości procesora, tzn procesor działa ale ze znacznie obniżonymi zegarami, nie wiem gdzie leży błąd. Procesor jest podkręcony tzw hardwerowo - został zmieniony STRAP na zworce na płycie, Xeon X5460 3.16GHz@3.8 (FSB 333>400) - system widzi go jako 3.16, dopiero wskakuje na 3.8 gdy wyłączę EIST:

Napiszę tak, wydaje mi się nie możliwe by kernel/system był w stanie obniżyć zegar, ale tak do końca nie jestem tego pewien

Na debianowym jest dokładnie to samo, dodam że wcześniej miałem inną płytę i było wszystko ok, ten sam procesor.

Ogólnie coś jest nie tak z rozpoznawaniem cpu z tej rodziny przez nowe jądra. /proc/cpuinfo mi normalnie widzi:
model name : Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU 5160 @ 3.00GHz
lscpu już nie.

To raczej wina po części płyty/biosu, bo tak jak pisałem, na innej płycie było ok. No nic, przeżyję, aż tak bardzo mi to nie przeszkadza, temat jest z 2013 raczej już tego nie naprawią :) Dzięki
