xfce nie uruchamia sie 'Cannot display this video mode'

XFCE4 instalowalem będąc podłączonym do pewnego monitora, ktory przyjmuje różne rozdzielczości. Niestety kiedy zmieniłem monitor na LCD ze sztywno sprecyzowana rozdzielczoscia 1024x768 to x-y nie wstaja i monitor zwraca 'Cannot display this video mode'. Wyglada na to ze pliki konfiguracyjne zostaly wygenerowany (o ile to mozliwe) pod stary monitor.
Spradzalem ale nie ma tu RHtowego ani Slackowego polecenie gtf wiec nie mam pojecia jak wymusic 1024 na 768 albo odpowiednia glebie kolorow..

Błąd tkwi w Hsync i Vsync, zwróć uwagę że te parametry masz podane w instrukcji tudzież na tabliczce znamionowej.

po ponownym skonfigurowaniu karty graficznej pod podkreslam sterownikami VESA!!! (karta jest innej firmy) udalo sie wyciagnac od monitora dzialanie z rozdzielczoscia 800 na 600 co jednak nie jest porzadanym 1024..

sciagnalem zrodlo gtf ale nie kompiluje sie nawet...

a nie masz w instrukcji podanych wartości hsync, vsync, pixelclock dla zadanych rozdzielczosci?
Zwieksz wartosci Hsync i Vsync moze to pomoze.
