Zainstalowalem sobe dla testu jajo 2.6.22-2-686(mam celerona i na twoim k-7 mi system nie wstawał)
I zainstalowalem sterownik 9639.Bez najmniejszych problemów.
Porównalem logi i nic nie wskazuje co jest dokładnie problemem.
Jedynie co mi przychodzi na myśl to gcc.
U Ciebie sterownik się kompiluje ale nie idzie go do jądra załadować.

witam mam następujący problem:
zrobiłem dowiązanie do gcc4.1
instalacja sterowników zakończyła się sukcesem(?) - przynajmniej tak pisało.
Problem pojawia się podczas uruchamiania x'ów.

ok nawet nie musiałem tego robić, otóż popełniłem kolosalny błąd i instalowałem nie te sterowniki co trzeba :p
NVIDIA-Linux-x86-100.14.11-pkg1 to jest właściwa wersja dla mojej karty.
Błąd z glx oraz nvidia rozwiązany ale teraz pojawia się niezgodność z ABI. W xorgu jest wersja 2.0 a sterowniki chcą wersję mniejszą.
Chyba się pośpieszyłem z updejtem xorga. W tym wypadku pozostaje mi chyba poczekać na poprawione (?) sterowniki, wrócić do starego xorga (?) lub coś innego?

tylko ze nie tak ma działać ;)
edit: udało mi się dogrzebać do forum nvidii. Napisali że w następnej wersji wszystko będzie poprawione i do wyboru jest używanie starszego xorga lub uruchamianie x'ów z opcją -ignoreABI oraz nie dodawaniem composite enabled w xorgu. Sprawdziłem drugą opcję i wszystko działa, 3d też.Offline
Ja zrozumiałem że przejściowo chcesz używać "nv" do póki nie zainstalujesz sterowników które obsłgują twoją kartę:) A żebyś miał akcelerację to musi być wpis "nvidia" a żeby był ten wpis to sterowniki muszą być poprawnie zainstalowane:)

źle rozumiesz, przejściowo to włączyłem nv aby zapytać i poszukać na google.
A że do akceleracji są potrzebne sterowniki to ja wiem, i starałem się to zrobić. Tak czy siak rozwiązanie już napisałem. Wszystko już działa.
